Tell the CPSC to test and recall dangerous fidget spinners

Our research of some fidget spinners uncovered disturbing results: some spinners found at Target can contain as much as 300 times the federal limit for lead in children's products.

Lead is dangerous for everyone, but young children are most at risk. Even low levels of lead exposure can impact development in children, and no amount of lead in a child's blood is safe. What's more, effects of lead exposure in young children cannot be reversed, which is why we need to prevent their exposure in the first place.

These toys may be popular, but they're not worth risking our children's health and wellbeing. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has the authority to recall toys that do not meet its standards, but the only way we can know if a toy contains lead is if it is tested.

Tell the CPSC to test fidget spinners for lead, and recall products that surpass the legal limits.
